Hello all,
If I already haven't told you in an e-mail, I will now, I convinced my wife into moving to Colorado.
Just a quick background: I spent most of my life bouncing around between states, Colorado being one of them. Colorado is the state I really fell in love with. I love the fact that in the Denver area you can be in the city with over 500, 000 people and a high tech job market (lots of prospects for me), and be immersed in beautiful majestic mountains within an hour drive.
There are many terrific places for the family to go to, and very gorgeous sights to see. The house market is similar to the Maryland and Pennsylvania area. The big difference in housing is that I can get a house for the same amount of money, but have better views, more land, and fresher air. The cost of living is about the same and the job market pays a little more. I have noticed that cost of renting airplanes among the countless flight schools located in Denver metro area is lower than the Maryland/Pennsylvania area and the selection of aircraft are more abundant.
Oh! That's right this is a reflecting on Colorado blog; sorry, I got side-tracked.
I had been googling on past places I remember about Colorado and here is a cool place that was in Conifer when I lived there and now moved to Bailey: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coney_Island_Hot_Dog_Stand
The Coney island hot dog stand used to be across the highway from where I lived in Conifer.
Another place I used to visit as a kid that I sadly hear is no longer there is the Cinderella City Mall : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinderella_City_Mall
Well enough reflecting on Colorado for right now stay tuned for more:
Bye
